"If you are thinking about staying here, don’t hesitate!
The home is charming, beautiful, and overall such a unique stay. The yard is also so gorgeous, we could not get enough of this property.
The home is easy to get to, is clean, has everything we needed, and the hosts were great. The rooms are up the set of stairs on the outside of the home, however this is a very minor inconvenience for such a great Airbnb.
There are lots of windows in the bedrooms so bring a sleep mask if needed.
It is easily in our top 3 airbnb stays! We hope to stay here again in the future :)"

Getaway at Hawkins Lake

"From the beginning of booking to checkout the owner was fantastic with quick communication. The place was very unique with a rustic, yet modern feel. We had everything we needed! I loved the back yard space and that there was a covered area to sit out and play games and stay away from bugs. It was well stocked and very homey. The place is absolutely beautiful and I had no issues with booking or anything during my stay! I love the history, the carvings and the being surrounded by the trees. A perfect place to reset and watch the stars! Loved it!"

Perfectly private cabin getaway
"We really enjoyed our stay at this property and our host, Remco, was very friendly and welcoming. Also, our communication was really easy with regards to clear instructions and prompt responses. The cabin was very clean with all necessary modern amenities and then some, like quality appliances, dishes, cutlery, pots and pans, and even a standing filtered water machine, etc. The bathroom was lovely and the washer and dryer very handy for our 10-day stay. The property is quiet and very private. We loved relaxing on the outdoor porch under the patio lights, and the layout of the house was quite unique. We especially enjoyed the sitting room area with gas fireplace, which kept us nice'n toasty on the cooler nights. As well, the bedroom fans upstairs in the Master Bedroom were great on the warmer days. Canim Lake and the local general store are located nearby...just a short 10-15min drive from the cabin. We brought a boat with us, therefore, we spent time out on the lake, which is absolutely gorgeous and huge! All in all we really enjoyed our experience at Carver's Cabin and in this neck of the woods. Therefore, if you are looking for a lovely, private holiday in a cabin with loads of rustic charm w/out sacrificing modern conveniences, we would highly recommend it!"

"During our stay we were lovingly ‘forced’ to quietly and unwind. The house embraces you and nothing more is needed. What a nice and special place! We have taken provisions in Hunderd Miles House for a few days and started to enjoy: the deafening silence, the deer in the garden, the nice kitchen, the bedroom where the light in the morning falls so beautifully…. We swam in Canim Lake and were there all alone. It was magical. Please be considerate of the mosquitoes. Fortunately, there are windows with screens in every room. Sitting outside is a challenge. In the immediate surroundings are houses with the typical items and clutter as you can see in this area. If you want to be together in a special house in silence, don't hesitate. It's one of the most special experiences we've had. Thanks Remco and Erin ❤️"
